In the video someone asks Kareena, “Kareena, I wonder what your take on feminism is? What’s your take on the concept, are you a (feminist)?” Khan doesn’t seem to know what to say, looking at Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker paused and said, “Well, I believe in equality, I won’t say I’m a feminist, I’ll say I’m a woman. And, most importantly, I’m a human being.”
Sonam clearly agrees with her answer and cheers her on with a “Wow!” Made the Internet wonder what the ladies do with their minds.
The video was shared by a Twitter user with the caption: “Praise from sonam kapoor means you must have said something terrible.”
Some internet users have given up on the viral video. “Actresses of the 2000s are the dumbest, ignorant and craziest people ever,” said one, while another added, “Stupid people are asked, dumb people are hyped behind their backs.”
Someone said, “Born with a golden spoon in your mouth, you don’t have to struggle to survive in this industry, so you can say that.”
One netizen said, “But I wonder why we are asking these entertainers these questions? We all know how dead their intellect is, how their privilege speaks for them, so why are we asking these entertainers such questions? Questions to corrode our brain cells?” They? “
“Please stop asking serious questions of Bollywood characters. I beg you, I don’t have to see this or deal with the insurmountable level of cringe that overtakes my body as I type this. I’m dead. I’m literally dead up,” said another.
On the work front, Kareena was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha and is currently producing The Crew, which also features Tabu and Kriti Sanon. Her OTT debut, Devotion of Suspect X, directed by Sujoy Ghosh, will be released on Netflix later this year. Kareena also has The Buckingham Murders next in her kittens.
