In another interview, it was also revealed that actor Sam Claflin (who plays Billy Dern) was offered the role by a friend before auditioning. “He was like, ‘Just channel this buddy,'” he told ELLE.
After casting, Claflin sent the video to co-star Riley Keogh (Daisy Jones). “She was like, ‘Wow, this is Billy and Daisy,'” he said. “So I think, in a sense, we kind of want to steer it through the process.”
