Fairleigh Dickinson beat Purdue 63-58 on Friday to become the second No. 16 seed to beat the No. 1 seed.

It’s also a way to shorten names on some betting slips, so hopefully this gambler does.
But naturally, the internet has a hands-on day.
The Cavaliers beat Purdue despite the 21 points and 15 rebounds of the 7-foot-4, 300-pound Zach Edey, whose average FDU player is a foot shorter.
Obviously, size doesn’t matter in a matchup, but, well, you know how it goes.
“Fair Dick, prove once and for all that size doesn’t matter,” HTV98 tweeted.

Remember, the No. 15 seeded St. Peter’s Peacocks made it to the Elite Eight last year. Oral Roberts was knocked out in the first round this year, but the joke was there.
One fan said it was just a preview of what was to come.
