Presidents Cup Thursday pairings, matchups for fourballs announced

Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas will team up once again on Thursday at the Presidents Cup.

After a bizarre few months leading up to the Presidents Cup — with team captains trying to figure out which players will be eligible and represent their squads — we finally have names and matchups.

US captain Davis Love III and International captain Trevor Immelman on Wednesday unveiled their first-day matchups for Thursday’s opening fourballs session. Five points are up for grabs on Day 1.

The first match begins at 1:05 pm ET with Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele taking on Adam Scott and Hideki Matsuyama.
