2023 Oscar winners: ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ dominates, with wins for Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, Jamie Lee Curtis

ANGELS — “Everything Everywhere All At Once” lived up to its title Sunday night at the Oscars, with the film winning gold in seven of 11 nominated categories, including best picture and best director, along with three nods.

‘Everything Everywhere’ star Michelle Yeoh made history as the first Asian woman to win Best Actress, while co-stars Ke Huy Quan and Jamie Lee Curtis also won the actor categories respectively. and supporting actress. Lady Gaga, who took the stage to perform “Hold My Hand,” her original song from Oscar-nominated “Top Gun: Maverick,” added a tally to the night of emotional moments. All of the nominated original songs were featured on the Oscars telecast, including the winner’s “Naatu Naatu” elastic suspender dance from “RRR” and a Super Bowl follow-up by Rihanna.

Host Jimmy Kimmel made sure to address the elephant (or perhaps the cocaine bear) in the play – last year’s infamous “slap in the face”.
