The upcoming Flash movie had a fan in the corner when James Gunn called it “probably one of the greatest superhero movies ever made,” but now an unexpected celebrity is making noise for the upcoming DC movie: Tom Cruise.
According to a report from THR, the Top Gun and Mission Impossible star loved The Flash so much that he cold-bloodedly praised director Andy Muschietti.
Story Cruise’s Warner Bros. It started with a meeting with Discovery CEO David Zaslav, who reminded Cruise how big The Flash was. Cruise asked to see the film, and Zaslav obliged by sending an advance copy of the film to Cruise’s home in Beverly Hills. Cruise contacted Muschietti shortly after finishing the film.
According to THR’s sources, Cruise called The Flash something along the lines of “everything you want in a movie,” adding that “it’s the kind of movie we need right now.”
Tom Cruise has received a lot of praise for his role in Top Gun: Maverick and its box office success from the likes of Quentin Tarantino and Steven Spielberg.
