This love and connection that I share with all of you gives me the strength to overcome the seemingly endless challenges that life throws at me. A few months ago I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called myositis. I was hoping to share this after I went into remission. But it takes a little longer than I expected. I’m slowly realizing that you don’t always have to put up a strong front. Accepting this vulnerability is something I still struggle with. The doctors are sure that I will recover completely soon. I had good days and bad days physically and emotionally. Even when I feel like I can’t take it one more day, somehow that moment passes. I think that might mean I’m one day closer to recovery. I love you…THIS TOO SHALL PASS.”
