Lance Reddick’s wife Stephanie is thanking fans for celebrating the beloved actor after his death at the age of 60.

Reddick, known for his various roles in the film John Wick such as franchises and acclaimed series Tel, Oz and Lost, died Friday, Yahoo Entertainment previously reported. The actor’s representative, Mia Hansen, told Yahoo that Reddick “died suddenly of natural causes.”

“Lance was taken from us too soon,” Stephanie Reddick, who married the actor in 2011 and shares children Yvonne Nicole and Christopher with him, wrote on her husband’s Instagram account.

“Thank you for all the overwhelming love, support, and wonderful stories you’ve shared on these platforms over the last day,” she said. “I see your messages and I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to have them.”

Stephanie later added, “Thousands Fate Players who play for a special tribute to Lance, thank you,” he said, referring to his starring role in the cult-favorite video game. “Lance loved you as much as he loved the game,” he said, including his character, Commander Zavala, in his photo series.

She concluded her statement by sharing that donations can be made to MOMCares, an organization serving mothers and families in Reddick’s hometown of Baltimore.

Stephanie’s post drew condolences from fans and colleagues in the comments. Actor Terry Crews responded with a series of heart emojis, while Ming-Na Wen called Reddick a “beautiful soul.” Starring Halle Berry John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum together with the actor called him “one of the most sincere people I have ever met.”
