Irish Drinking Song, y’all???

Jimmy Fallon Left the Big Apple for St. Patrick’s Day and headed out of state for some small town pub fun…hitting the local watering hole and hanging out with the band!
The ‘Tonight Show’ host found his way to the Iron Smoke Distillery in Fairport, New York, just outside of Rochester. He actually knows the owner of the bar across the street — Mulconry’s Irish Pub — and apparently heard the musicians swinging from 1916…he had a curious feeling.
We’re told Jimmy came up towards the end of 1916’s set and asked if he could play with them before they hit the road. Of course they obliged — sticking around for a few more songs. As many know, JF is a bit of a music guy… and a natural showman.
It’s three tunes they played, including The Doors’ “Gloria,” The Georgia Satellites’ “Keep Your Hands to Yourself,” U2’s “Desire,” and more. Jimmy took charge on vocals and lead guitar … and all the other band members backed him up.
After taking the stage, we’re told Jimmy hung around for a bit and took pictures with patrons… having a great time with everyone. It seems he wanted his vacation to be a little more low-key and local … and he certainly got that with the Iron Smoke crowd that night.
We’ll see if he has any food for his night on Monday…when he returns to night duty with his group. It’s just a good reminder – dude, he can probably jump up and hold himself at some point.
Good old Jimmy…gotta love him.
