Gina Rodriguez is stepping into a new role!
The 38-year-old actress gave birth to her first child with husband Joe LoCicero.
The “Jane the Virgin” star was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Saturday with her newborn baby strapped to her chest in a carrier, according to photos obtained by Page Six.
The new mom kept it casual in a black t-shirt, sweatpants and Nike sneakers, while the baby snuggled up under a blanket decorated with farm animals.
Neither Rodriguez nor her husband have announced the birth of their baby, nor have they released the baby’s gender or name.
Page Six reached out to Rodriguez’s reps for comment, but did not immediately hear back.

The February 11 outing came seven months after Rodriguez announced her pregnancy news.
“This birthday is different,” she captioned a July 2022 Instagram video with the actor.
The pair, who met on the set of Jane the Virgin in 2016, wrapped up the PDA-filled footage by showing off a positive pregnancy test.

LoCicero, 36, smiled in the video as his wife shed tears.
“Anyone can want you,” a voice explained in the social media upload. “But when someone really values you, love their difference.”
Jaime Camil, a former colleague of the duo, wrote: “My heart is breaking for you two.”

Rodriguez’s other famous friends shared their support. “ OH MY GOD!!!!! Congratulations! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍,” Jordin Sparks gushed, while Nikki Reed wrote, “I love you so much Mama❤️.
That same day, LoCicero called Rodriguez his “goddess” via Instagram.
“Wherever you go, my heart follows,” the MMA fighter wrote in a touching memoir at the time. “Happy Birthday to You.”
She got engaged to the Golden Globe winner in July 2018 and married the following May. Actor Justin Baldoni officiated the couple’s outdoor wedding ceremony.
To celebrate their third anniversary in May 2022, Rodriguez shared some sweet Instagram photos.
“Three years of marriage to my best friend,” she wrote at the time. “Are you at home.”
