As many know, former President Donald Trump’s upcoming book is titled Letters to Trump it is believed to be a collection of letters he collected over the years, filled with correspondence from A-list celebrities, politicians and the royal family. Many are wondering what might be inside a book that sells for $99.99 on Amazon, and just as many, if not more, are wondering about the legitimacy behind this bombshell book.
With private letters from dignitaries like Oprah Winfrey, Hillary Clinton and Kim Jong Un, and deceased members of the royal family like Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth II, many want to know how Trump got permission to send private letters. Along with them, letters from award-winning stars Liza Minnelli and Jay Leno will also be included.

Now, her rep, Victoria Varela, told Newsweek that Minnelli “was unaware of the book and did not give her permission to access it.” However, Leno made it clear that he never authorized Trump to publish his letters.
This makes them the first two stars to address this controversial book and the legitimacy behind it.

According to Newsweek, the company behind his book, Winning Team Publishing, claimed “actual or implied” permission. However, Newsweek also reported that earlier copyright laws claimed that the authors of the letters owned the rights to the text.
Only time will tell, but many believe the book is a recipe for another legal battle for the former President.
