ALABAMA FARMERS MARKET

What you’ll find: Vendors selling apples, cucumbers, blueberries, broccoli, squash, zucchini, eggplant, herbs and other produce in season. Flea market, food trucks, vendors selling jams, jellies, honey and other items.

When: Daily throughout the year, open 24 hours, most vendors available 5 am-8 pm

WEST HOMEWOOD FARMERS MARKET

What you’ll find: Vendors selling fruits, vegetables, arts and crafts. Food trucks, live music.

When: Tuesdays, 5 pm-8 pm during July and first week of August.

TRUSSVILLE FRESH FARMERS MARKET

What: Vendors selling squash, zucchini, collards, peaches, honey, onions, cabbage, broccoli and other fresh fruits and vegetables. Also vendors selling orange rolls, fried pies and other baked goods, honey, coffee, herbs and more. Live music.

When: Tuesdays, 1pm-5pm; Saturdays, 8am-12pm

VESTAVIA HILLS FARMERS MARKET

What: Vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables, casseroles, honey, seafood, cakes, pies, bread, homemade dog treats, T-shirts, popcorn, snow cones, arts and crafts, and more.

Good to know: Part of the proceeds from sales benefit food pantry at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.

When: Wednesdays, 10 am-1 pm during the summer.

Where: 741 Montgomery Highway, Scout Square, Vestavia.
